At “Europe Nuclear Research Center” (CERN) located in Geneva/Switzerland, scientists are working on solving the universe's secret. In order to do that, the scientists study composition, structure of matter and use particle accelerators. They need extremely advanced technology to understand these particles exposed during impacts. CERN makes great contribution to researches as well as technological development. SAC prep students were ready in CERN to see all these unbelivable studies. They all had a chance to get answers for their questions and create great ideas for the future. Turkish scientists Umut Köse and Sezen Sekmen visually presented and explained all their work on-the spot. CERN excursion has added academical and social value to our students.
