It was an unnamed horse which was bearing the burden of its owner’s for years in Çekmeköy. After its two legs were broken, things changed completely. It was left all alone in the backyard of SAC without looking back. At this point, its unfortunate life has changed completely. SAC students, employees and Animal Protective Association (HAÇİKO) rescued the horse after 4 hours of operation with great care which was followed by medical treatment at the Veterinary Faculty of Istanbul University.  The horse is named as “Yağmur” since the rescue operation took place on a rainy day. Yağmur is getting better each day and looking for a farm to continue its life with full of love.
