TED talks date back to 1984.  TED events are organized worldwide under the motto of “Ideas worth spreading.”  Local communities host TEDx events to provide a platform for sharing authentic ideas.

With great enthusiasm, students created a TEDxSEVAmericanCollege Club this year with the support of advisor Mehtap Koşak.  Our students learn to express themselves orally in front of a crowd by sharing original talks for our school community.

One of the Club’s goals was to receive a license for “TEDxSEVAmericanCollege”.  Their license was received last week!  Now club students will realize their dreams on June 4, 2016 by hosting the big event.  Members of  the organizing committee are the club students, club advisor Mehtap Koşak, our educational technologist Hakan Umutlu (an experienced TEDx speaker!), our school principal Elvan Tongal, and our corporate communications executive Uğur Ersözlü.
