The second annual Spanish Festival, Soleá, was celebrated on Friday, May 27th.  200 people participated in this year's celebration included the following young professionals from Darussafaka, Eren Burci, Deniz Şengün, Cem Onur and his dance partner Ekin Kanat with their chachacha and jive performance. Melis Cangüler, who is the pioneer of flamenco, had a superb performance right before Mexico’s Consul General Señor José Antonio Mendoza’s opening speech.

Teams consisting of four students from Anabilim, FMV Erenköy Işık, Fen Bilimleri, İstek Atanur Oğuz, Adapazarı ENKA, Üsküdar American Academy and Marmara College were each locked in different classrooms.  They had to get to the key by solving puzzles shared over the internet. The game was conducted live by students who were located in the computer lab.

The first three awards were presented to the winners after the wonderful performances. This year, not only students, but also their teachers had a chance to win prizes. Adapazarı ENKA came first and won iPad minis, SAC came in second and won roundtrip tickets to Spain and Atanur Oğuz High School came in third and won one-way tickets to Spain.
