Presented by our students Bora Cengiz and Öykü Ece Sıtkı, the memorial started with the opening speech of SAC Principal Elvan TONGAL. After SAC school choir performed YEMEN TÜRKÜSÜ, we stood in homage at 09:05. The students shared different aspects of Atatürk with their friends and teachers by making two different presentations about “Mustafa Kemal’s leadership traits” and “Geometry book” written by Atatürk. Our music teacher Ezgi Özbay on piano and our drama teacher Uğur Ersözlü on vocals performed EFEM, one of Atatürk’s favorite songs, accompanied by our students Serhan Arslan and İrem Nur Yılmaz’s zeibek dance. The memorial ended with our students’ oath of allegiance to Atatürk’s principals and reforms.
