The SAC family believes that interdisciplinary teaching methods promote the learning process. With this in mind, mathematics and geography teachers organized a visit to the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Institute.

At the first stop, our students visited the observatory unit and learned about history of astonomy studies in Turkey. They observed the dots on the sun and movements of the sun.  Their second stop was the meteorology unit.

And the last stop was the earthquake unit.  In that unit, they had a lecture about plate tectonics and they attended an earthquake training program.
