The 19th annual Guidance Symposium will be organized by SEV American College this year.  This event is one of the annual activities of the Private Schools Association of Turkey.

One of the priorities of all educational institutions is to create a respectful and supportive school climate.  This includes the establishment and maintenance of healthy relationships, respect for individual differences, and positive contributions of stakeholders.

Peer pressure and bullying are among the most important problems threatening the positive school climate.  The school administrators who manage school rules and ensure safety, teachers, and psychological counselors work together to make positive contributions to healty school climates.

In addition to hosting expert speakers on topics such as peer pressure.  Our symposium will also conduct round-table discussions on topics such appropriate interventions for counselors and teachers.  Moreover, there will be a discussion on how stakeholders can contribute to a positive school climate.

Our symposium is titled "Towards a Peaceful School Climate." The symposium is open to teachers, school administrators, psychological advisers, parents and anyone else interested in education. You can find the symposium bulletin and program below.   All presentations will be in Turkish, with the exception of a speech by Dr. Carlos Carona.
