Founder of the Da Vinci Institute’s and current chair, Müge Kanay, visited our school on April 27th. This event was held during club hours and took 80 minutes. Students from 7 clubs including Science & Sci-Fi, Environmental Sciences, and Destination Imagination participated in the event. Kanay focused her studies on Biomimicry and Biotechnology in the US, and explained, with examples, how technology is inspired by nature. In this dense and engaging talk, students learned that technology can still learn from nature.
