The attendance at the first SAC spring festival which was held on the 2nd of June was very high. Students from our school and as well as other schools attended the festival. Not only our volunteer students as DJ, SAC Crimson Band and UAA Orchestre played on stage but also popular bands of these days called Yok Öyle Kararlı Şeyler and Son Feci Bisiklet pleased the audience with their music.
The students who had the opportunity to taste very delicious snacks from Ranchero, Polonez, Domino’s and Subway, bought lots of design and handmade objects from souvenir stalls, some of which were installed in the aim of creating a certain solidarity with specific organizations. A corner of the festival was assigned for outdoor playground area full of inflatable toys like foosball, sumo and gladiator.
50% of the profit made by ticket sale was donated to one of our school’s social service projects: Water Well Project for Africa.
Spring Festival is planned to be celebrated traditionally on the 32nd week of every academic year.
