During our fourth celebration of the Spanish Festival Solea, we had the privilege to host consuls from four different Latin American countries including José Antonio Mendoza from Mexico, Tatiana Lucía Zapata from Venezuela, Andrés Gregorio Núñez Sánchez from Panama and Olga Valencia from Colombia, who chose the best costume amongst the students who were dressed up. During the festival, a tongue-twister competition was organized by Miguel Grajales from Cervantes Institute, salsa workshop was led by Yalçın Şişman  and our science teacher Hazal Özilhan, and flamenco workshop was led by Manuel Reina from Spain. We also had the honor to host two representatives from Chile and Spain, Jimena Imas and Cristina Minguez respectively. Latin American Cultural Society held a card-making workshop and sold original handicrafts from Peru. Homemade Mexican food was served by the Mexican Bravo family who live in İstanbul. Students also enjoyed a rodeo competition.

In the closing ceremony, three awards for the tongue-twister, rodeo and costume competition were distributed. Thanks to Pupa and Nuans Publishing House for their support to our activity.
