Our 11th grade IBDP student, Öykü Ece Sıtkı, received full (100%) scholarship from an IBDP World Student Conference that will take place in Washington D.C. between 8th of July-14th of July.  She is the only Turkish student who got accepted to the conference among 52 other international students who are coming from different countries.  The theme of the Conference is “Student Activism and Social Justice in a Global Context.”  During the conference week, the participant students will work collaboratively, debate on the theme, listen to speakers who will give lectures about the conference theme and come up with projects.  At the same time, students coming from different countries will interact with each other and get involved in social activities.
