SAC’s Public Speaking Club attended “Public Speaking Competition” at FMV Işık High School.  Although the competition was limited to sophomores, the club was invited to be spectators to get a taste of what is to come next year. The club’s President, 9th grader Aslı Özgönül, along with the vice president from Prep C, Selin Önbilgin, were selected to watch the competition. They were accompanied by one of their club teachers Mr. McNutt. They were able to watch, listen to, and evaluate students’ speeches from all over Istanbul.  This was a beneficial trip because they were able to gauge the competition for next year, when SAC will be able to send it own participants.
